Privacy policy.

1. Introduction
Sharper Medicine PLLC ("Sharper Medicine," "we," "us," or "our") operates this website to describe our telemedicine acute pain management services for personal injury patients in Texas. This policy explains what information we collect through this website and how we handle it. It does not replace the notice of privacy practices that governs your protected health information when you become a patient.
2. Information we collect
Through this website, we collect only the information you choose to provide through our contact, booking, and partnership inquiry forms — such as your name, email address, phone number, attorney or firm name, and the contents of your message.
When you become a patient, your protected health information is collected and maintained separately through our secure patient platform, not through this website. We ask that you do not submit detailed medical information through the website forms.
3. How we use information
We use the information you submit to respond to your inquiry, schedule and coordinate care, communicate with you and, where applicable, your referring attorney, and operate and improve our services. We do not use website form submissions for targeted advertising.
4. HIPAA notice of privacy practices
Sharper Medicine is committed to protecting the privacy of your protected health information in accordance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). The full Notice of Privacy Practices, describing your rights and our obligations regarding your protected health information, will be provided to you at the time of any clinical encounter through the secure patient portal.
The website forms are not a secure clinical channel. Please do not transmit protected health information through them.
5. Data sharing
We share information only as needed to provide and coordinate your care:
- With treating providers — chiropractic, physical therapy, and specialists — when coordinating your care.
- With your referring attorney, under the terms of a letter of protection, as relevant to your case.
- With service providers who help us operate, under appropriate confidentiality and, where required, business associate agreements.
We do not sell your information.
6. Cookies and analytics
This website may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate usage. We do not use cookies for targeted advertising. Any analytics in use are described here and collect aggregate, non-identifying usage data only.
7. Your rights
You may contact us to ask what information we hold about you, request corrections, or request deletion of website inquiry data, subject to our legal and recordkeeping obligations. Rights concerning your protected health information are described in the Notice of Privacy Practices provided through the patient portal.
8. Accessibility statement
Sharper Medicine is committed to making this website accessible to the widest possible audience. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. If you encounter a barrier to accessing any part of this site, please contact us and we will work to provide the information you need in an accessible format.
9. Contact for privacy questions
